Scrappers!!

So, since Vanilla Bean got her post, I only feel it would be fair to give Scrappers his time to shine as well. He has been a member of our family about a year and a half now. We found him in the road one day after he had been hit by a car. His leg was severely broken, and he was just so sweet and otherwise healthy that we had to get him fixed up and keep him.

He's such a sweety and I'm so glad that we kept him. He's got such a unique story that I'll post future blogs about him.

December is here!!

Yikes, December is already here! I can't believe another year has gone by. We received a new shipment that will make its way into the store. It has a wide variety of gemstones, glass, and porcelain. We'll create some new and intriguing mixes to help get those creative juices flowing! Please be sure to check back often!

Inspriation

So, where does one come up with their shop name of VanillaBeads? Their dog, Vanilla Bean, of course!! I'm the proud parent of two happy and friendly pitbulls, Vanilla Bean and Scrappers. Vanilla Bean is very smart, and extremely cute if I must say so. Whenever we go places, people always stop up and want to pet her. The tough thing is that she is smart and knows she's cute and uses it to her advantage to get treats out of all of the Petmarts employees!! :)



My dogs are a big part of my life and I'm sure they'll become a big part of this blog.

My first Blog!!

Finally, a blog has been created for Vanilla Beads! Vanilla Beads is a bead store co-owned by two friends who have a passion for great beads. We hope to grow and to continue to provide great beads. You can find our store at www.vanillabeads.etsy.com.

We will post when we have new shipments that have arrived, when we have sales or give-a-ways, or when we hear of something we'd like to share.
